| dc.description.abstract | El desarrollo tiene en la base energética una condición indispensable. Sin lugar a dudas la energía ha sido necesaria históricamente, no solo para la supervivencia, sino para la reproducción económica. Sin embargo, la fuerte concentración en las fuentes tradicionales de energía persiste en el escenario energético internacional. En el caso cubano la matriz energética reconoce que las fuentes tradicionales de energía representan el 95.7% y de esta cifra el crudo ocupa con el 48.3%, su fuente de mayor generación. Por lo que las fuentes alternativas o renovables (FRE) solo representan el 4.3% del total de la generación, basada fundamentalmente en la biomasa cañera. En el año 2012 por Decreto Presidencial No.3, se organiza la actividad relacionada con las FRE que en el año 2014 amplía su alcance, quedando conformada la Política para el Desarrollo Perspectivo de las Fuentes Renovables y el Uso Eficiente de la Energía, aprobada por la Comisión Gubernamental del Consejo de Ministros. Con ello se dispone que cada OBE instrumente la generalización de FRE a favor del cambio de la matriz energética cubana, sobre todo a partir de las inversiones en la energía fotovoltaica. Esta transformación le ahorrará al país más de 1,300.000 toneladas (ton) de combustible fósil que equivale a aproximadamente 780 millones USD al año. El presente trabajo analiza la contribución a esta política de la EE-VC y a la vez declara la responsabilidad social empresarial de la entidad y del país en la búsqueda de una sociedad más próspera y sostenible. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Development has an indispensable condition in the energy base. Without a doubt, energy has historically been necessary, not only for survival, but for economic reproduction. However, the strong concentration in traditional sources of energy persists in the international energy scenario. In the Cuban case, the energy matrix recognizes that traditional sources of energy account for 95.7% and of this figure oil occupies with 48.3%, its source of higher generation. As a result, alternative or renewable sources (RES) represent only 4.3% of the total generation, based fundamentally on sugarcane biomass. In 2012, by Presidential Decree No.3, the activity related to the FRE is organized in 2014, expanding its scope, forming the Policy for the Perspective Development of Renewable Sources and the Efficient Use of Energy, approved by the Government Commission of the Council of Ministers. This provides that each OBE instrumental the generalization of FRE in favor of the change of the Cuban energy matrix, especially from investments in photovoltaic energy. This transformation will save the country more than 1,300,000 tonnes (ton) of fossil fuel equivalent to approximately USD 780 million per year. | en_US |
